A good shroom dog is worth its weight in gold. Takes more time to train than a field champion retriver, but its worth it the other piece of equipment any good shroomer should never be without is a straight shafted weed eater, the kind you can put a saw blade on. Be prepared to change blades periodicaly throughout the season due to wear and tear. Finally, some sort of high gallonage trash sacks or feed sacks from your local feed store. A snow shovel will work well but tends to piss your buddies off, with a good dog and a weed eater, they think you're just showin off with the shovel
