We built a new crib this year that backs up to about a 6 or 7 acre lake…it is common property for the “subdivision” which is 45 2 to 3 acre lots.
Son said he was going to walk down and give it a go this afternoon and I was doing some paperwork and waiting on a landscaper to come give a bid on some decorative rock work.
Son text me about 20 minutes later saying the bite was on. I headed that way after I got done with the landscape guy and took the fish basket with me.
First time we have kept anything, but put 15 crappie in the basket between 9” and 11” and probably threw 25 back.
The are now fillets and will be released into Crisco Lake tomorrow night
