I just use a Big River goose flute and have killed plenty of honkers. Simple to blow and never needs adjusting. Less than $35 too. Granted most of the guys I hunt with use the short reeds and the mix of my call and theirs is glorious cacophony of goose sounds. We can make enough ruckus to bring in any goose that is looking for a place to land. So, if they don’t come in, we just declare they weren’t lookin’…

So, it seems that the flute comes with a goose/ human thesaurus that enables you folks to communicate with them with words like " cacophony " and " ruckus "? Fascinating !!! My avian dictionary must be quite outdated.
