Not an excuse, but I am sure plane problems that led to the trip being by bus at very last minute didn’t help the whole situation.
Going into the second half I thought we would see a strong start with a 10-2 or 4 run to open the lead up more, but that never happened.
Grill never lost his desire to throw the ball up…but he totally lost rhythm the second half. I was hoping they would live by their each game is someone else’s turn but nobody else picked up the baton.
I would have really enjoyed seeing them put Calipari on the outside of the bubble but losing this game still leaves the Tigers in a decent position…they just need to bounce back from this one.
