Good excuse for an early morning walk if you're in the area. Subject: Black Bellied Whistling Ducks in St. Joe Date: Fri Jun 7 2019 8:13 am Patrick J. alerted other local birders this morning to two BBWD's in a pond on the west side of Mark Youngdahl CA in St. Joe. They were out in the open briefly for a photo op then hid in the reeds and grasses. Patrick says they have been there a couple of days. The 32nd street parking area is just south of Faraon Street but is unmarked as you drive south--it's a curved driveway on the left. From the parking area, a gravel path to the left goes down hill to the pond. Post Extras
