He just isn't a MLB level manager. He's had 6 or 7 years to get better and hasn't. He was handed a WS caliber team and forked it up. He was badly out-managed in a WS and several times in the playoffs. The only way to fix him is to move him to another role in the organization. Power play is easy to fix. Hire a coach with a great special teams track record. Develop a PP that suits what you have on your roster.
