They need a locker room leader someone to mold and impress upon the younger pitching staff. Yost is probably the best manager they have had in two decades. I believe he and the GM are restrained by the ownership more than anything. Puppet masters pulling strings and getting their feelings hurt when people tell the truth. Ever wonder why Seitzer and White were fired? Both of them were winners who know how to win and teach people to win, they were both just too vocal about it.
