I tried that East Side IPA, Griffin. Very, very good. Will be getting more of that. Thats exactly my kind of IPA. Citrusy, alcohol strong with enough malt to support it and, but doesn't cross the line into acid territory with the hops or into butterscotch tasting with the higher alcohol . . . its just right.
Need to check out that Piney River Brewing place, Forsythian, next time I'm in the area. I've tried to find their stuff around here, but had no luck.
Had some kind've IPA the other night at Pi Pizza. might've been Left Hand Brewery? Also picked up a 6'er of Hibernation Ale the other night and it was damn fine, but not as good as I had remembered it from last year.
Keg is empty from the Zwickel lager crap I tried on a whim. Thank god. Need something to replace it. Any suggestions?
