Who was our leading scorer in '19? How many goals? Kyrou might outpace Taraesenko this year.
When was Edmontons last Cup with all their firepower? Toronto? How are the Avs doing this year?
The Blues are lacking in some skilled areas Center position for sure and might be a year or to but Divorsky is the likely answer. Plus, Snuggeroud, a sniper for the wing, coming up at same time. There's a ton of others too.
But yeah, right now, they are on the bubble. But the effort is there most every game.

Yeah, maybe that's the whole plan. Never have a true goal scorer again. I'll say this for that bunch...they could give the hockey globetrotters a run for their money in silly passing.

Can any of those 9 actually shoot a puck? The Blues are going nowhere until they can score some goals....for the last 3 years they are perennially in the bottom 25% of the league. Nothing will change until they can score.

The Preds are worse than the Blues.....but the Sabres aren't...apparently last place in the Atlantic doesn't translate the same.
The Note won't make the playoffs.

I watched these two CalGARY games. I can see the promise. Both of those teams will be/are fighting for wild card spots. It's to the time of the season when you HAVE to beat those teams in front of you. The Note looked like they wanted it. I enjoyed watching their effort.

There's nothing but good coming with our prospects and Monty is the guy to bring it.
I hope they get in for sake of the young players to get the valuable experience and if they do....I will do more than hope for a round 2.

Saw the clip with Cujo and Hull.....dang I wish Cujo was around here....would love to see him in the booth full time.
That Ken Wilson segment on 550 was good too...he's coming out with a book and says he will let it rip.
Dark days have arrived on Clark Street with this 3 game skid....might be the end for this year we shall see.

They were 50/50 to make the playoffs at the beginning of the year, at best. They have played like a .500 team. Not getting top tier play from players making top tier money and the whole bunch is inconsistent. The maddening part is when they play their best, they can compete with all but the top tier teams.
I had mentally set my hopes on next year and more realistically, the year after that. Next year will be some growing pains with the youth movement, as well. Hoping to see some of those lads make it up this year yet. Might as well start to get them some seasoning while you can. Even if the Blues pull a rabbit out of a hat and make the playoffs, it will be a very short run.

Well this team is quickly running out of time as they face their biggest funk to date.
They have just looked terrible and calls and pucks continue the wrong way on top of it.
They face their nemesis tonight and times are desperate for a win.

Yeah, ok..there is 6 minutes left in this game against "The Hockey Club" ....Blues up 1-0. Honest to God, this is the worst hockey I've ever seen from a Blues team. I'm done. I'll pick it up again next season.
