Let's get something straight as we head toward a possible cup for the Blues.
I know I'm going to hear this crap more than I do now, and it's going to aggravate me even more than it does now. So, let me get this out now, to no one specifically.....
1. This is NOT your team. You don't own it, you don't play on it, and nobody who is part of the team knows who the hell you are. So stop saying "we", and "us", as in......"we're going to kick some ass tonight".....or, "no way the Bruins can beat us". Just shut the fork up. It's the Blues.....THAT'S the team......there is no "we" or "us" in the team name.
2. STOP referring to players by the nicknames their teammates have given them. You are NOT on the team. You don't even know the person you are using a nickname for.....you're possibly insane, or have stalker tendencies.....forking stop it.
When I was teaching my kids about hockey, so we could watch it together, there was never a single time when these words were uttered....."pay attention kids, we're playing really well right now and if we can get a few more goals, especially with the way Flipper is playing, we can win this thing". YOU DON'T DO THAT BECAUSE IT MAKES YOU A FORKING IDIOT!!!!!!!!!

Common ground here, Lipper.
I have enjoyed Bruins hockey over the years.....especially my very early years as a hockey fan. Esposito, Cheevers, Sanders, Orr, blah, blah. Of the original 6 I suppose they have been my favorite.
Not anymore. These whiny ass forkers are on my last nerve. I hope the Blues beat them into submission. I don't care what the score is.....just beat the hell out of them.
Next, the national media. Those bastards annointed Boston the Cup after round 2....fork them.....leave the ice and head for the press box after kicking their golden whiny biatch children's asses.....let Bob Plager lead the charge.
Fork Boston and their puzzzzzzy ass coach.

I didn't hear his comment about the call.....fork him then. If you don't want to lose on a missed call then score more than one forking goal.....piss on him.

 Twenty-two minutes, even if that quote is too light is more than one entire period of hockey advantage for Boston.
My resource on what happened in the Leafs/Bruins round is the noise coming from the other room. The refs let Bruins penalties slide, until finally a Leaf retaliated, and then they blew the whistle and The Leafs got penalized.
Now my husband, who coached midget hockey in the '70's, is screaming at the TV: "DROP YOU GLOVES! DROP YOUR GLOVES! GO! DROP YOUR GLOVES!"

For what it's worth mb, I was pulling for the Leafs in round 1.
Did not the Bruins get a nullified Leaf goal in that round?
After 2 days of incessant whining, now the Boohooins are saying they are focused on the game because that's what's important.

Well, tonight's the night.
Beating this team and all the forking baggage that comes with it 3 games in a row is no easy task.
Hated losing game 3 but now that they did it might be a good thing in getting the team ready for this one.
Would love to see them do it tonight for all the fans of this franchise.

I don't know about any disallowed goals, LS.
A former ref, agreed that the refs should have never let the game get out of their control.
Don Cherry, who I would often rather send back to Boston, agrees with my husband. If they're beating on you, drop your gloves, don't try to take 'em with your stick. It only penalizes your teammates.
Of course The Bruins are going to play their game tonight - this is their M.O. because typically, the refs will tighten up their calls in games 6 & 7.
Blues just have to do the same!

I don't think the series has been called unfairly, and I damn sure don't think the Blues should be anything less then they've been.....the pounding MUST continue.....the Bruins, for all their "toughness" hate it as bad as Dallas and San Jose did......it's relentless and has to be the Blues attack.
I don't have a penalty by penalty list, but there have only been a few calls for their hits (and of course the suspensions, but that's he league these days if you hit the head)
What they need to stop doing is taking the delay of game and interference penalties......those are just stupid and, I'd venture an educated guess from watching each game, the top end of the calls against them.
Play their game, let Boston retaliate, and win the cup. If the Blues let up on the physical game it won't happen. They can't give that top line a chance to get in the series....and the Blues have done a phenomenal job of keeping them out. (Parayko)

1) You were right about the 7 defense man line. And, in that same vein - Kuhlman.
2) Those special lines that The Bruins can form are brutal. Talent is deep rooted in this team.
3) Y'all ask about officiating, but not The Leafs game 7 loss. The Leafs were up by 4 - 1 with 9 minutes to go, playing their same skating game. Then, The Bruins broke out. Don't ever underestimate them.
Y'all are going to Game 7 of The Stanley Cup FINALS! Few make it! Those of us, who didn't win enough to get there, survived!

1. That was just a boneheaded move by Cassidy....who I REALLY don't like.
2. Without question Boston is the more talented team....but that goes for every team the Blues beat to get here.
3. I never care about officiating. I don't want a whistle every damn minute......just do the best to make the penalties even and I'm good. I think, for the most part, the NHL officials do their best at that. PP and PK are part of the game. That being said, I doubt the Blues, or anyone else, can go 1/18 on the PP in a series and expect to win it.
I don't care about going to the finals......this is a 52 year deal. It's win the cup or it's just another season for me. I am happy to still be watching great hockey in the middle of June, so there's that. I think the Blues can still pull it off.....but they have to get an early lead. That team is Jekyll and Hyde....playing from behind is an absolute mess for them.
