The name doesn't sound familiar but it doesn't sound good being they have searched almost a day and a half and suspended the search this evening.
Sad deal for sure.

Dabs, where did you see a name? My son has some buds that hunt there pretty regular. I would think I would have heard if one was missing...
Also missing a dude in Oklahoma duck hunting. They found his buddy dead but I haven't seen where they found him. He was a country singer.

I found a story yesterday late that I can't find now.....if I remember right his last name is Nixson and he's from Pleasant Hill.

I people who know him. I heard they found his waders and parka up in a tree near where they found the dog like he had placed them there on purpose for some reason. I don't know if that is true or not. Bad news all around. I've taken some stupid risks trying to kill a duck and got away with it.

I know they MO HP and everyone needs to stop looking in Unit 4 for him. He ain't there. The flood waters took him way downstream by now. They have Unit 4 shut down to hunting and access and it's one big ass refuge of birds right now. The last week of season and we can't hunt the place because a dude went into flood waters and high winds in a layout boat, without a life jacket. SMH

No Koolaid for me. I don't step foot in a place a man has to put his hand in a box and ask for permission to hunt. Texas has a couple of those places, but like MO, I stay away

They found the singer's body.
It would appear these duck hunters knew they were going to face hazardous weather...

Wasn't my strap. We tied heads in the decoy lines and packed them out. Long drive to hunt Texas also. Yall must have been lost, but I guess you can help shoot cranes in the morning.

Crane hunting is always on private ground.......all 350,000 acres of it.

Still plenty of ducks in the green timber in South Texas. Another great day.

Bailey says and I quote....you're an IDIOT. I wouldn't walk into a Koolaid stand for the winning powerball numbers.

This from a dude who uses more electronics than NASA to kill a duck, while never leaving the safely of his comfort zone hole. We never fired a shot. The two assholes who shot them refused to get I n the picture.
