BTW I think AJ the Polack has a career in Hollywood after he retires. Didja all see that? That was funny but was a smart baseball move on his part - I'll give him credit for that!

Other than Matheney's move with choosing and keeping Choate in the tenth in game #3 the pen is not really the problem. And I don't even blame Choate. He did what I thought he'd do once he got by the second batter.
Cardinals D has been off, bad and not nearly good enough to win a series like this.
Look at almost every Giants run and you will see it came off a bad defensive play or outright error.
Last night no exception, particularly runs 5 and 6.

Pitching is bad. Hitting is good. Molina out is not helping. It's not looking good for us

Magic pixie dust will only carry ya so far and it looks like y'all got the magic pixie dust allotment this year
You better hope Ned doesn't get his pocket picked by Bochy
If the Giants haven't fried their bull pen, y'all are in for a battle

The good news for KC is that SF is not a great team. They are good, they are opportunistic and the are scrappy. They are a lot like KC.
I think KC can with this thing if the layoff hasn't caused them to lose some of the mojo. The key will be to play good defense and the pitching. KC will score their share of runs, that's a given. They just can't make mistakes in the field and/or have a pitching meltdown.
I will be rooting for KC, just because, well, 30 years is long enough punishment for being handed a WS gift...

Pretty much agree....keep up the pitching and play good D and you can beat the Giants.
Matheny with yet another mind boggling pitching strategy last night.
Wow. What a goof.

I can't see why the Royals won't play SF tough. True they have some Royals' qualities, but if the Royals play to their potential then I am OK with our chances. Will the streak & momentum be in question having 5 days rest? I don't think so.
I expect a hard-fought series with no clue who will prevail. Obviously I want the Royals to keep playing their game and see how we do.
The pennant win was already more than I had to see to be satisfied for this year. Better years ahead if we can keep the core...

Not that August baseball and October baseball are the same...but the Giants were in "HomeofToto" City back in August for a 3 game interleague series and went home without a win then.
