Any of you hands taking a yute this weekend? I promised a kid that lost his dad to cancer when he was 4 yers-old, I would take him again. I took him last year and we had a few great hunts but only brought home a beard (see the post from last year for details). He's 13 now and has some issues. Hoping to give the kid a few good memories and maybe help keep him on a better path than what could be, if he takes a wrong turn in the next few years...
I was supposed to take my twin nieces but that fell through. Seems the whole scouting, getting up early and crawling around in the dark woods was not so appealing after all... ![](/ubb/images/graemlins/shrug.gif)
So, who else is doing the Yute hunt?

Got a buddy coming out with his ten year old trying to bag his first bird. He's already killed a couple deer. Kid is a good hunter.

My boys had a great day Saturday morning. Birds were hot and came in gobbling and spitting. Had a quadrupedal gobble at 15 yards, just before the shooting started. Fun day for sure!
