First one of theirs I've tried... Very enjoyable with lots of hops! Prolly gonna have to buy a sixer..
I know very little bout the science beers and what not. But this beer had very little head. Did I pour it wrong? Is there a science to pouring?

My experience with beers that are 9% and above is that they all have very little head.....which is the complete opposite of how your own head will feel the next morning.

I haven't seen it yet.....but when I do I'll grab a six. Unfortunately, I'm still intrigued with the idea of being lost in my own home.

I was there a week ago and had their Coffee Stout on tap. Absolutely loved it and yeah I could start the rest of my days with one of those each morning.

That is my father in law's beer. He is one of the brewmasters. I stopped by the brewery when they got the first batch done. Found him out back on the patio of the brewery mumbling incoherently about having to sample the goods. I had to swipe his keys and put him up in a bed and breakfast for the night. It's good stuff for hop heads but it will flat knock you out quick if you aren't careful.
They've been getting rid of some of their older brews as the new guys are going more "creative". They quit brewing their Oktoberfest, which I loved, in favor of a new pumpkin beer, which tastes like a pumpkin pie mixed with ass. Their Big Bison is awesome and their smoked porter tastes like a smoked brisket. If you can get their original stuff, I'm a big fan. Their newer stuff, not so much.

Well I now consider myself a hophead thanks to these fools around here... I will definitely always have a few of those gunslingers in my fridge...

Big Bison is pretty good. I tried a couple on a pick-six a couple of weeks ago.
