How much did she get????
      #170661 - 12/19/08 10:10 AM

Looks like NASCAR paid a small fortune to keep the wimmens and negras in their place... But I don't see how much they forked over...

Any of you folks in Waffle House nation see what they paid out???

NASCAR gets rid of the negra wimmen problem...

In all seriousness, how much is being called a few crude names worth? $225 million cuz someone called you Queen Sheeba and Nappy Headed? Cuz some hillbilly shook his Johnson at ya?

For 225 million, I'll let ever hoosier at Talledega call me every name under the sun and if they can do it with their pecker in their hand and their drawers around their ankles.

I'd laugh all the way to the bank.

We got a forked up society if this biatch got 7 figures.

I don't know, but I'll bet you it was at least 2 million. The speed with which it was settled, denotes guilt by NASCAR, but this chick's so flakey, she'll be broke in a couple of years anyway.

PIE!!! Everybody wants their piece, and they're just spreading the wealth around.

Hey Waffle House Nation, News Flash: We're in 2008 and soon to be 2009. It's going to be real hard to keep the wimmens and negras out of your game. You might want to join the rest of us in the 21st century... I'm just sayin'...

~heh~

Beanerball Nation: Newsflash. I was the one who said here a year or two ago, that as soon as gas prices start to get wonky, this will be the first sport to get hit. Why? Because of the public's 'perception' that it's a waste of gas, not based on the fact that it's so popular as a live spectator sport that people won't be able to afford weekends at the track.

Promoting women & blacks in the sport, and imposing quotas in the garage, is a direct result of Jesse Jackson catching up with the France family's antics, and their efforts to appease him. Nothing more, nothing less.

Was getting your foot in the door 'simpler' 10 years ago....yes.

Was it 'easier' to compete? No.

Was it 'easier' to be a woman? No. It was probably 'more difficult' then, than now. Nobody 'gave you any breaks', you were there to work, just like I do at auctions now.

Would I trade a second of my life away? Sure. Each one where someone got injured, or died. Same as every other person, on the face of the planet.

-------------------------------------------

All I've been saying all along is quality of life, is actually better than before. YOU watch movies on airplanes. Our lifespan is longer. We talk, and bounce ideas off each other, like never before.

And, the whole damn world can change around you, but as long as YOU don't, you'll be okay.

Everyone has to scale back, and yet, ticket prices for this sport, haven't dropped. But then, neither have my hockey tickets....I still made sure I kept a Montreal vs. Toronto pair for my husband & son, Mr. Blues.

And, as I watch Robby Gordon go through his 3rd manufacturer change in one year, and the suprise of new fans who find this amazing, I am reminded of how 'easy' it is to change decals on 'The Car of Yesterday', and how, in fact, Bobby Allison changed body styles, and motors FOUR times in a single season.

Hey, Andy... did I tell you my son's new girlfriend plays and coaches soccer?

Sounds like a winner!!

As for the rest of that post... I'll need to run it through my decoder ring.

Two "sports" that have always amused me were Bass fishing and auto racing/NASCAR. Neither require the natural advantages a man has over a woman in real sports yet the boyz make it almost impossible to play in their sandbox... And why can't the negros play there either???? Is it true the bathrooms at the NASCAR tracks say "Whites Only!!"? Just curious....

I just fish for fun, but at Bass tournaments, do they have bathrooms that say, "Masters Only"?

How many G's exactly do they withstand when 'reeling in a big one'?

And on the scale of athletic endeavors that require strength and stamina, just where does driving a car fall? If I'm not mistaken, most of those Waffle House Nation heros are about 5'-6" or less and weigh under 160 lbs, soaking wet. Not to mention the fact that some wimmen even smaller than that have managed to endure the rigors of multiple left turns...

Again I ask, why can't the wimmens and negras play? Seems to me it would be a lot cheaper to just let them play than shelling out big settlements...

They can....anytime they want to, but it's not all 'sport'. It's a professional 'entertainment industry'. Just like a 'movie' has to have a producer to front money to put a team of technicians behind it in order for it to be made, a driver first needs to get hired by an owner, who believes that he can put together a legal, competitive team and car together for that 'driver'. In order for the owner to do that, the cost of professional racing is so high, that he needs to find sponsors for that car, team and driver.

Right now, NA$CAR and the car manufacturers 'weed out' potential young drivers by putting them through development programs. These programs, include such things as physical training, mental training, media traing, on-track and technical training. THEN car owners decide which of any of these kids they'd like to hire. Does it sound like hockey school?

Participants in developement programs must have a minimum number of years experience and successes and are chosen from all racing disciplines, without bias towards race or gender.

HOWEVER, successful completion does not mean that an owner can hire anyone of these drivers, and 'sell' them to the sponsors and/or the public.

--------------------------------------------------

We're talking about an 'official' here, not an athelete. Officials are direct employees of NASCAR. Just like you may have a human rights violation claim against your employer....I guess, so did she. What I'm saying is, what you see on T.V., isn't what goes on in the garage. You have to have a pretty good sense of humour to be around that many men for days at a time...it ain't pretty.

I guess that means that a ninth grade dropout from a small town in North Carolina, twice divorced with three kids, long hair and bushy mustache, cowboy hat & 30 years old would stand about a snowball's chance in hell......nowadays??

Police say alcohol may have been involved in this incident

Good Lord!!! finally a post from the, always lovely, Miss Bud that I can read and understand. Not one single bit of gibberish that foils even my decoder ring. I'm impressed!!! A tip-o-the-cap to ya...

So, if wimmens make up roughly 50% of the population and negras about 15%, are we to believe they just don't have what it takes to make it through this process? Is it their looks, intelligence?????

And where is Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton with the NASCAR shakedown? What about NOW and the other feminist organizations. They always go to the money piles and NASCAR certainly has that!!

Women: Are in development programs, and have been since the mid-90's when Lyn St. James opened her school. You can believe, that it takes more than just driving skill, and often, there are secrets in the garage area, that most men, won't share with a woman, unless she's a family member. You are to believe that they, in fact, have the talent, but are still not marketable, as athletes, following completion of their development programs. You can believe that most women in the sport, of note, are in managerial positions, rather than technical.

Blacks: I, if I were to guess, would say are in the same position....but, I honestly wouldn't know.

The doors open, but I'm not going to lie to you and say it's equal on every level. The arena, in which you compete, is the same.

I've already commented on Jesse Jackson....he already has the France family's ears and money, and has for years.
