nothing to brag about here, just hitting the trout water this year, trying to put some in the freezer for the winter.
i've got a smallmouth crick on my property, but i never keep anything out of there, aside from goggle-eye now and then.

hope the medical stuff is just routine

Appreciate the comeback

No real worries

Half of the medical stuff is Molly's---she took early retirement in May and now is catching up on all the baseline stuff doctor's like to have etc so being not only the Camera Sherpa but also He Who Drives and Waits....I get dragged all over the place.

Won't bore you with the "old man Miseries" but while I like my cardiologist.....he is a PITA wanting this and that test and changing meds etc. My General Doc is a pretty good egg and quite the looker as well, but she is by the friggin book as far as scheduling this and that. Nephrologist is a good looking gal was well and I think she is part vampire---always wanting blood samples which for her specialty requires 5 vials and a 'sample'

Hell....I'm will only be 74 in July...... and most of my friends are older

Age is a number. Some days I feel lots older than I am though

I just turned half a hunnert and for my b-day, I bought myself some readers. That's probably the first time I've felt that I'm not as immortal as I thought I was, however I'm thankful for good health. Being mentally healthy makes a HUGE difference on your physical health. I found that out after I sold my business. Got my mind fixed and my body don't hurt like it used to.
Stay active, physically & mentally. You'll outlive most.

I went fishing this past week and while I haven't weighed fish in a long time, I caught park trout that was a couple pounds probably. Biggest one I can remember catching, but no pictures. I was in a hurry to get my limit and get back home.
Going to head back down again Monday and try for another limit.
Cornmeal, hot oil and cold beer are hitting the spot!

64 going on 85 here. At least that's what the knees and shoulders are telling me.
As Foots always said, "Gettin' old ain't for beardedclams." More true every day!

The boy caught a couple rainbows at around 11,000' last week.

Beautiful location and a nice break from triple digit heat. I think it was in the 50's in the middle of the day there
