A guy over on AR15.com has a dog that he needs to adopt out, and I'm trying to help him find a new home. (I also posted it on that other site, that we don't mention here).

"I need to place my dog up for adoption.
Oscar is a three year old, intact male, Deutsch Drahthaar. He's housebroken and has obedience training. He's about 75#s.
I started hunt training with him but he is far from finished. I've fired shotgun and .22LR over him and he's solid.
He is very smart, super friendly, energetic and can be stubborn. He's gentle with children and good with other dogs. I have not had him around cats or other animals. Edited to add:
Oscar is a powerful dog with a lot of passion and drive. This requires a strong leader and, at times, a firm hand and/or a properly deployed E Collar.
He's chipped, tattooed and papered. I'm his original owner.
I'm about 30 minutes North of Springfield."

At least the dude is honest if you care to pay attention to what he is writing.
Some poor bastage is going to take that dog a think he is going to train him up. At three, it can be done, but odds are very high it won't.
