Admittedly, I watched the game tonight.......for Forks sake!!!
This is not a good team.....and I don't even know where to start. Truly....just start over.
Dump every asset, make salary room, finish last, and get the first picks. I don't care if it takes 3 or 4 years....just get rid of this version of the Blues, it's horrible. Start with the architect of this forking mess.....Armstrong.
Don't even try to tell me about how respected he is in hockey circles, etc......he's forking done!!

What Blues fan is happy? Pretty obvious, and has been, this is a train wreck. It's still hockey to me. And I'll watch a re build too. I'll ALWAYS watch Blues hockey.

Dude I didn't even know some of the players. I'm really not much of a fan anymore. I don't know if I'll watch a rebuild or not. That team could leave town and I wouldn't care at this point. But....you keep telling yourself that the rest of us are as dumb as you are....I know you need it.

I've not been back since I left.....if I don't own seats I'm not in. Same with any of our town's teams.
I got on last night in between periods.....just long enough to hear homer 1 and 2 go on and on about how the Blouse owned the Canucks in the first period.....as they had, what, 3 shots in the 2nd?
Now you keep watching.....I may need a resource for how they look.....you can be my own Dummypedia on the Blouse.

Little Grif turned 21 a few days ago (man, where have the years gone....he wasn't born when I got on the first conservation cafe).....we're headed out to do a little shooting and then have a few beers. Maybe the game will be on.....but really, who cares right now?

Wow ! That boy is 21 ? ! It just doesn't seem possible.
I still recall a dove hunt in the St. Pete bottoms when he went off on your four wheeler to fetch beers from several different trucks.
The possum cops decided to drive out and check us just as Griff was returning with all the beer. I laugh every time I think about it.

He is indeed, and he often mentions hunting with you all....and he remembers that post-hunt party particularly, and always laughs at our shenanigans that day as well.
He grew to be 6'5" and now runs a mile in 4:09 and just did a half marathon in 1:14.....at practice. Hard to say what the future has in store for him. He'll finish out his college athletic eligibility and get his degree in construction management, but he has lately been working out with a group of Navy Seals in the area, a few times per month, after he secretly made a trip to the recruiter and destroyed their pre-test. He'll also have a chance to continue his triathlon career since he still holds a pro card.
My bet is he signs a SEAL contract after college and we'll see if he can get through the training. Physically, he's fine......I guess we'll see what kind of mental damage we did to him.

Got a few games in hand on most all other teams.that in itself will add a few points to bottom line.

Bottom line ? Can the Note somehow make the wild card?

But, if the play of late continues ( most of the time ) I'd say the Note has bout 25% chance of a wild card birth.

Watched football last night so missed the game but it looks like they must have played decent to beat a good Sabres team.
I see the Blouse is 6-3-1 in their last 10.....stacks up around 10th in the league over that time.
I suppose they COULD make a wild card spot, but as Eddie says, it's a big hole to dig out of. They will need a streak of maybe 7 or 8 wins to get back in contention.....I haven't seen this team be capable of that.....they are either good or terrible every time out....not a good formula for an extended win streak.
I give them a 15% chance.

Yep leave it to them to play themselves right out of the Jack Hughes Sweepstakes.. Then he'll end up a Hawk and will terrorize the Note for the next 10 - 12 years.. They will play just well enough to miss the playoffs and drop down in the draft order past the "sure things" draft choices..
