Trump is getting so screwed...
      #252045 - 03/26/16 04:16 PM

The Republican party made a big deal about whether Trump would be loyal to the party, and had him sign a declaration for same.

Now these very same SOB's are doing everything in their power to derail Trump's campaign. Unbelievable. Ads against Trump total $65 million and growing.

It is all going to come down to: "do you vote for or against Trump?"

Every thing else is irrelevant, folks.

I support Trump.

I tried to give Trump a chance, really did. But I think he's full of chit... Did anyone watch the CNN Republican town hall meeting last night? One of the audience members asked a simple question to donald trump, "what do you think the top three functions of the federal government are"? With a confused look he answered, security, healthcare, and education. Then in the next sentance when the queer moderator from CNN asked him if he supported government run healthcare, he replied no, then asked him if he supported common core and he replied no. Wtf over? I don't even know if substance matters this election but if it does, Hillary is going to kill him in a policy debate

His biggest problem is that he is not an ideologue. He is a deal maker. He doesn't really come to the table with a set of well developed and well thought-out ideals and principles. When asked about abortion earlier in the week, he doesn't have the sense to just deflect the question and tell the questioner that this election isn't about abortion and until you brought it up, nobody has even named it as one of their top 100 concerns in this election. Rather, he stumbled, bumbled and made a fool of himself, then his campaign had to walk his comments back and "clarify then."

Like you, I fear he is going to get eaten alive when there aren't 8 or 9 people on the stage and he can't turn it into a circus or reality show. He doesn't seem to have any substantive arguments to back up his positions. Maybe that will change and he'll get better. The reason he is so popular is because he isn't a politician, PC or and insider. Ironically, that may be his undoing as well. Eventually, he will have to be able to clearly and accurately articulate his positions and put them in contrast to Hillary's. I'm not sure he can do that very well. The name calling and quick-witted retorts will only get him so far.

All of that being said, I will vote for him if he is the nominee. The question is how big of a man will he be if he does not get it? Will he take his voters and hand the election to Hillary or will he man-up and support the GOP?

Trump is saying things a lot of fed-up people want to hear. Heck, he's saying some things I want to hear!

I'll vote for whatever Republican runs against Hillary of course, but I've got some real reservations about Trump. For one thing, he's the front-runner only because there are still multiple candidates for the nomination. Six out of ten Republicans are against him and he won't pick up many Democrat votes in the fall either. Hillary is a poor, weak candidate - Dems don't even like her much, but Trump is the guy who can get her elected whether he gets the nomination or not.

I don't trust Trump. He's a rich New Yorker who's never shown much sign of being a conservative. I've got a bad feeling that with his big ego he's doing this for a lark - saying what the "hicks" want to hear to mess up the Republicans and throw the election to Hillary, weak and unlikable as she is. To cinch it for her, he'll probably run as an independent after he fails to get the Rep nomination.

I think he's like Carroll O'Connor, about the most liberal lefty actor in Hollywood - but when he was playing Archie Bunker and making fun of conservatives I liked most everything "Archie" had to say. I'm afraid that's Trump, and I wonder if the Democrats aren't behind his running - a big ol' Trump-bomb for the Republicans.

Well, we've seen just about every kind of yahoo elected president over the years. From the clueless peanut farmer from GA, to a one-term senator, community activist and socialist.

For me, I am so ready to vote for someone not beholding to big money and big politics. Somehow people are missing the significance that candidate Trump isn't "bought," whether by big politics or lobbyists. The rest are.

Trump is a disruptive force that represents the chance for change, progress, security and prosperity.

But he's dug a hole with women, Hispanics and other minorities/ethnicities. If he doesn't fix that, it leads to a non-majority of delegates/voters at a contested convention. And than when breaks loose. Nobody wins except Hilary...

But then, you fellas can better articulate all this than me.

Yes, the establishment/corrupt/career/RINO/donors of the GOP is spending big money trying to stop him. They're also trying to figure ways to beat him in a contested convention (which is why that douchebag Kasich is still running), even if it's someone who will lose to Hillary.

I am currently wondering which web sites will let me change my screen name...
