Then left for the day and didn't go back Sunday. Got 5 on Saturday between the 4 of us in the blind (3 gadwall, 1 woodie and 1 ringneck). But the crappie was tasty!! Went this morning for a few hours and bagged 1 bluebill hen. The lake got buzzed by a flock and one of the other blinds took a shot at 'em (hard to imagine there was someone else as dumb as me out this morning). One cripple limped over me and that was the only time I lifted my gun. Next hunts will be Friday and Sat. Something about the next 2-3 days forecast doesn't get me too excited. At least there was in the first hour or two.
