Police said today they found him in a sitting position, barely suspended off the ground, had cut marks on his wrists too. The wife went to bed in a different room at 10:30pm the night before and went at 10:00am without looking him up, personal aide found him just before noon.
Shoulda looked into getting into another profession since acting was so hard on him.

That sucks.
Maybe it would have been " below " him, but I'd bet there are many radio stations that would have hired him to do a modern version of the " Good Morning Vietnam " routine.
Even if it was a short term gig, and didn't pay chit, you know it would have been funny as hell. Maybe it would have cheered the dude up for a bit.
Brilliance and lunacy are famous partners, and he channeled that for decades.
I'll miss his twisted sense of humor.

I agree. He could do improv better and faster than many others could do rehearsed lines.

Please let the hating begin.....
....I have no reservations in saying that I could care less about Robin Williams or anyone who kills themselves for that matter.
I know that the world today looks at suicide and talks about mental illness and depression and this and that but I don't think anyone who kills themselves should be sensationalized in any form....should not be a newsworthy story.
That is all.

Any celebrity that dies before their 70's or 80's is going to be a news story. The fact that he off'd himself just gives it a little more zip. Considering that RW was almost universally appreciated for his work, makes it an even bigger story.
Suicide is a tough one for me because every bone in my body wants to hope the SOB is rotting in hell for what they did to the ones they left behind. On the surface, it is a selfish act. But by the grace of God I have never been so depressed, tortured or in pain that I even gave it a thought. I suppose there is a very dark place where you can end up that rational thought is not possible and the pain so great that you aren't even thinking beyond your own suffering and thoughts of escaping it. "There but for the grace of God go I..."

I don't agree with suicide either.
That being said, there isn't a mofo on this site that at some point, didn't laugh their ass off watching the man.
He was incredibly talented, and THAT is what I'll miss, regardless of the cause of death.

Where you play golf or not, this is some funny shiite. Lasts a little less than 5 minutes. Watch your volume if needed as there are F bombs galore:
