Waterfowl Hunter Shot by Deer Hunter in North Dakota
Posted: Nov 11, 2013 5:15 AM CST Updated: Nov 11, 2013 8:54 AM CST
UPDATE:
The Foster County Sheriff is now identifying the man who was shot in the stomach in a hunting accident in central North Dakota over the weekend.
Sheriff Mike Tufte says Cody J. Taylor, 24, of Schofield, Wisconsin, was accidentally shot Saturday morning, Nov. 9th.
Taylor and several friends from Minnesota were hunting waterfowl in a field using blinds when they heard rifle shots and saw some deer running towards them. They tried to get the attention of the deer hunters when a stray bullet struck Taylor in the lower right abdomen.
Taylor was transported to the Carrington Health Center where he was checked out and then transferred by air ambulance to a Fargo hospital.
This occurred near the southeast corner of Foster County.

A hunter remains in a Fargo hospital after being shot by another hunter last weekend.
It happened Saturday morning in Foster County.
The Foster County Sheriff says a deer hunter shot at a buck that was running toward where a group of waterfowl hunters were sitting in a blind. The bullet hit one of the waterfowl hunters in the stomach.
The hunter who got shot was taken to the hospital in Carrington and then transferred to Fargo.
Sheriff Mike Tufte says he recommends waterfowl hunters stop hunting until deer season is over.
Are you flipping kidding me? ^^^^^
The sheriff says the men in the hunting blind tried to put on their orange vests when they heard shots being fired toward them, but it was too late. One of the men was hit.

Would be nice to know the full story. It seems to me the deer hunter or the duck hunters were not where they were supposed to be or we have some really dumb people involved. I would guess that the idiot shooting at the deer is the one at fault but you never know...

Well, this is all about YOU, isn't it?
Dude, check this out. I've been unable to move from the house with a viral infection, and running a high fever for the past month, that there were days that I could actually understand, "Uncle Si".
