Any of you on here who might be trying to text or call me on my cell.. don't bother for now. I found out yesterday while I was fishing that the "waterproof" pouch on my waders wasn't. 
So I made a run to the Sprint storethis morning and got some good news and some bad news...
Good news = I had insurance on the phone so I paid $50 and will have another phone (albeit a different model since mine was so old  ) overnite shipped to me. I should have it tomorrow.
Bad news = I found out that Sprint phones have no sim (sp?) card so unless mine dries out enough that it will power up, I will lose everything in it. SSSSSSSSSSSSSSIIIIIIIIIIGGGGHHHH!

That's what'cha get for going with Sprint !--  Sorry about missing the MWA meeting Tim last Thursday, I had to work till 7pm then , had another "Plumbing Emergency" after that--and besides that---I lost your cell phone and House number ---guess I could have called LIW--but I was sorta busy.--  ---dang where's the flushing graemlin when you need him ?---

I may have said it before, but put your wet phone in a ziplock bag full of white rice, zip it shut, and put it in an area that gets sun or warmth. The rice will draw the moisture out of the electronic device and absorb it. Try it. You don't have much to lose.

What do you have to lose?
After you put it in the rice, you are supposed to slip it between your boxers and your trousers to provide the heat. If you miss this important step, the rice bag idea won't work.

btw, your neph ran up a substantial number of $$$ on his phone for internet access....
you should have seen him explaining to Mrs Frugal that it was a texting error .. that he never accessed the Internet on his phone.......
