And the gizmonics are hard wired and jerk cords rigged. The younger bucks can put out a few hundred decoys before the youth season. Actually have a couple of first time boys this year to experience our world. Gonna do my best to show them some totally new things.Really looking forward to it.

Good deal Greg
We are ahead of schedule also. No real rain in forecast,so we pumped our highest pond up so if the other clubs pump from the creek we won’t have to worry about our sloughs.
All in all….i think we are looking good……..hope y’all get into them

We had another 13 y.o. first timer set to go. Broke his arm 3 weeks ago.. Must be a good sport, he's gonna show up in a cast just to watch.

Just got back from 5 days in Nodak beating down on fowl. Killed 4 swans total, which was a huge check mark bird for our Mexican friends who came up to hunt with us. They killed honkers too, which they had not done before as well. Had a good time with Naz on our trip and couldn’t have done it without his help to find the birds before we got there. He saved a week of driving, and bey thankful for that
Now time to beat down some birds in all 4 flyways again this fall. Looking forward to an east coast hunt of 3-4 states in December. Maybe this is the year I can finally kill a duck or crane. Not interested in shooting a goose, but a duck I hear is tasty to eat.

They say there are going to be so many ducks in "HomeofToto" that they block the sun when they fly by
The "HomeofToto" boys say it is too crowded to kill any of those ducks but since you like a challenge......you might drag up in that direction
just sayin

I am going to try to stay out of that state. Texas and Oklahoma seem like a better fit. Less folks and less headaches. I am looking forward to the east coast trip. South Jersey for some sea ducks, brants and other misc. trash ducks. 3 days in Maryland for more sea ducks, then finishing up with a decoy carver for black ducks on some backwater saltmarsh sloughs. Might hit NC with some old friends before we head back.
The Decoy museums in Havre de Grace is something I've always wanted to hit. Looking forward to that part of the trip, just as much as the hunting. I do know I'll probably have to drag Grief into a marsh on some public lands in a state as well. Can't remember which one, but I imagine it will be some good times. Foots will be with us, so IYKYN. He might make an East Coast trip too.

Did the decoy museum several years ago. You’ll enjoy it. Not huge but very interesting, if you let your mind wander back to what it must have been like before modern technology. Those had to be some tough bastages back then. No neoprene waders with 1,000+ gram boots. I doubt they even wore gloves 90% of the time. You also get a good idea why we have limits. Market hunting is on display and it looks like they did some serious whackin’ and stackin’.
We did gadgets last weekend. Doing decoys and setting up the interior of the blind today. Only one Yute this year and it is my 15 year-old granddaughter. Not exactly ducky weather for her, but she’ll get plenty of opportunities in the first few hours. She’s not a champion shooter, but she can hit a few. Looking forward to the start of another season in the blind.

I hate gloves myself. Don't wear em 99% of the time. Did in Kyrg last year sheep hunting, but it was 13,000 feet and 0 to -10 at times. They were pretty much needed daily, which I hated, but it all worked out.
The market hunting days would be fun one time....with a punt gun from a 4 gauge filled with nails and screws. Just once.

I'm told that the two youngsters are really stoked about tomorrow. Makes me smile to know that they are happy to be picked up at 5 on a Saturday.

3 mallards and 1 gaddy for the first timers. Should have been a few more.
The 15 y,o, asked many questions. He was really taking it in like a sponge.
Bill, Apparently I can't reply to a p.m. Don't know what's up with that.

Good deal Greg
There are not many guys that would be willing to pick up a couple of kids at 5am and drag them to a duck blind.
Good on ya-- that's the best investment in the Karma Account a man can have.
Thanks for sending me the pix--will have them done probably today if something doesn't pop up
