Yeah, ok..there is 6 minutes left in this game against "The Hockey Club" ....Blues up 1-0. Honest to God, this is the worst hockey I've ever seen from a Blues team. I'm done. I'll pick it up again next season.

MIZ...

They actually played really good dude. I'll be watching hockey until July.

Don't mean to be nosey but....what surgery did you have?

Ugh....if that passes for "good hockey" against another bad team....ok...but I'm not watching it.

I had to have my left hip replaced. (been two years coming after another major hip injury/surgery). Hopefully, this will put me in forward gear again.

They played a team that has had their number since Covid and they played a full 60 which has been their biggest problem.

And I'd rather watch any hockey than no hockey anyway.

I have friends doing the hip surgery with great results...I guess more precarious since it's the second same one? but I bet you come through in good shape!

The first surgery was to repair an injury from a pretty nasty accident training my dogs.(basically Tommy-John surgery on my hip) The doc scraped my hip then, hoping to buy me some years from the arthritis....no dice. I'm too active these days annd got down to bone on bone in 2 years.

The replacement is a weird deal. I've had a dozen ortho surgeries, and this surgery is BRUTAL. I was deeply bruised from my armpit to my ankle on my left side. Yeah, just like they say, that pain in your groin like you got kicked in the nuts is gone as soon as you wake up.... now you just feel like someone cut your arse in half, bent your leg back until your hip popped out of the socket, so they cut it off with a saw, drilled a hole in your femur, and hammered a forking bolt in there. It's miserable.

But, amazingly, right at two weeks it's almost miraculous as the swelling leaves. There is nothing in there left to hurt once the muscles cut from the surgery are healed. Today is 23 days since the surgery. It's the 4th day in a row I have walked a mile. I am pain free for the first time in 3 years. I have some stiffness and mobility to work on yet, and it gets tired and starts to ache where the muscles were cut still...a mile is really all I can do....but I'm pretty hopeful this was a deal.

Old boss had each hip replaced--- said the only two real problem after everything healed was putting on and taking off his socks

He solved the other problem with a bidet

just sayin

One thing I do know is the longest drive bud in our 4 some had a hip done over the summer and if anything he's pounding the ball farther...and straighter.

to both of you....Wu, I sometimes wonder if I'll ever be able to put regular socks on again. I have been wearing ankle socks for almost 4 years because that's all I could manage. LS - that's what I'm shooting for....but without the golf, because it's golf.

For anyone still interested it ain't over yet.

Blues have been playing play off style hockey now for some time...last 7 games.

They've dug themselves a deep hole so odds remain against them.

Caps tonight.....no escaping the schedule.

These forkers.

They are a better team than The Hockey Club ( ), the Flames, or the Canucks....but I think it's late and they pizzed away most of the season.

They don't deserve to be in the playoffs, but the future is looking up.

You guys had it OK....there is enough talent on this team.

I think they should stand pat....it's gonna be or not. Let this bunch own it. It'll be good for them either way.

My feelings too even before the Parayko fiasco.

Geeezus they were just turning the corner for real.

Lost Thomas for 20 games early now 20 games for Parayko at the worst time.

2 best players not named Binnington.

Anybody know where Eddy has been? He's usually good for a few thumbs up comments on the Blues around here?

I haven't missed any of this run. They're missing some playoff pieces for major success...but I'd like to see them get in for the experience. This is a good team to build on. I think, as you say, the last few games have been tremendous efforts. They've even managed to claw back to the + side on goals. I didn't see that happening.

Yeah these last 2 games not their best players not their best play but yet....they found the way to win both.

Walker is literally nuts. Very inspiring for his mates.

Habs need a win same as Blues do...Tuesday should be interesting play off like game.

Leagues looking at expansion...KC would do well to land a team.

Best pro game out there by far!

Today's game should be fun....the two hottest teams in hockey over the last 10 games...both 8-1-1.

Bingo!

Another win just gutting it out and not getting pushed around.

This team gets into the third and then they believe.
