Western Rat Snake

It was a young one, 2'-3' long, and just wanted to get away. I was headed down to get the mail, and when I came around the corner and we spotted each other, I hit the brakes and it started heading into the woods. No time to get out of the Rzr for a good pic, so I got what I could.

Another one, in the same general area.

A Western Rat Snake just crossed the driveway. I barely had time to get these pics, before it disappeared.
