Howard Cosell (tells you how old it is) was broadcasting the finals of Olympics wrestling. It came down to a surprise American finalist against a two time champion heavyweight Russian. The Russian was known for his Russian death grip from which no one had ever escaped. The match went on til the third period when Cosell emoted, ?OH NO, he?s got the American in the Russian Death Grip!!!! No one has ever escaped. A thousand one, a thousand two, a . . .? Suddenly there was a blood curdling scream that everyone in the arena heard. The American escaped. The Russian was so startled he lost composure and lost the match!!

After the match Cosell interviewed the American.

Cosell: Congratulations! Did you know you were in the Russian death grip and that you are the only person ever to escape it?

American wrestler: Well, I heard people yelling ?Russian Death Grip? and I was in the dogondest position I?ve ever been in. I was desperate. I looked up and saw a pair of balls hanging down. So I reached up and bit them . . . . and they were mine.
