Finished up work yesterday at the farm (just off the Mississippi between Foley and Elsberry)and lots of specklebellies were flying-- not migrating high-- more like heading to a field to chow high

Drove back to New Haven (on the Missouri) and specklebellies were flying

Had breakfast on the patio this morning and about 100 flew over the house about 300 feet high and made a turn to a harvested corn field not far from the house

Seems a bit early--??
especially with the forecast being 91 degrees today and a strong south wind
