Good for her regarding her actions that day but a few thoughts:

I actually heard some kook on the radio chastising her for hitting the boy. They said that conflict resolution with your children should not include hitting them. I guess the idiot, liberal kook on the radio did not see the boy about to throw rocks or whatever at the cops. I can also only assume they have no idea how things work in the real world...

Where is the father(s) of her 6 kids? They didn't mention she was a widow. 78% of African American kids grow up in a household without a father. Anyone wonder why these kids have no discipline, no structure, no respect for authority, etc..? Oh, that's right, we can't talk about that. It's politically incorrect and it makes you a racist if you do.

Why do we call someone a hero for doing what they are supposed to do? Is the standard so low that we not call people heroes for just doing what they are supposed to do? Isn't that an insult to the African American community?
