That sucks. Maybe it would have been " below " him, but I'd bet there are many radio stations that would have hired him to do a modern version of the " Good Morning Vietnam " routine. Even if it was a short term gig, and didn't pay chit, you know it would have been funny as hell. Maybe it would have cheered the dude up for a bit. Brilliance and lunacy are famous partners, and he channeled that for decades. I'll miss his twisted sense of humor. |
