So I normally wouldn't post this sort of thing, but I have been sitting in the hospital since about 3am this past Wednesday and kind of wigging out at this point. I wish you all would post more stuff!

My wife's water broke at 2am, contractions kicked in quick, and we had our little boy at 5:24am this past Wednesday. He was 5 weeks early, 4#12oz, and doing just great. Wife is great too. Our daughter was 6 weeks early, so this isn't our first rodeo. I guess my wife cooks em quick, but so far both times it was just a matter of getting them over 5# to take home (hold their own body heat).

So I am waiting for the 2:30 feeding time and have the race on. Wishing I had some Arby's. OH, wait, National Anthem is on....

I thought it was awfully considerate of the little man to get here before Turkey season. I can see birthday weekends spent crappie fishing in the near future. I am pretty darn happy about it all, spend a week at a hospital and you realize how good you have it, even if things aren't as perfect as you'd like.

So drink one for me today, been a dry week! --Jim
