Gotta love the Texas panhandle, playa lakes, ag fields full of flying ribeyes, ditch chickens..........and even some bonus Cinn Teal. Pretty cool to decoy in those red hots to my own rig of hand carved teal decoys. I've shot Cinn teal before, but this one is going on the wall with the last one I shot. Hated to leave to go back to work. Guess I need to get back there next weekend.

I figured since we had to drink beer, as required when pheasant hunting.......we might as well drink a beer that was drank by countless hunters before us.

I was hunting with Wisconsin dudes....they hate Miller products and only drink Bud. Drinking a bottle of bourbon while pheasant hunting didn't seem like a good idea. Its beer, which is usually for women and people who can't handle the harder stuff.

He's a good Yankee. Owns a salmon fishing charter I can go on any time, and we are hunting with him in January out in Washington state. He's good people....for a damn yankee.

Glad someone can still put up with that crap. Was asked 4 times to go to a koolaid stand this year with a low number or go hit the timber in SEMO. Passed them up every time. Happy yall enjoyed it. I can't bring myself to doing it.
I'll stick with OOS hunting with no draws, no pills, and no clowns wearing waders while drawing a pill.
