Yep you folks have a great day with the family 
Getting to spend mine with some folks I ain't seen for a spell and 1 lil one that hasn't seen her first Thanksgiving yet,,,,be a dang good day with lots to be thankful for.
Even tho today I cleaned all my stuff out of my big truck,,,life moves on and on,,,,just a page turned in the chapter.........

I've got lots to be thankful for this year, my friends. After a blood pathogen that almost got me, then open heart surgery, then finally a hematoma surgery on my thigh that still gives me some degree of limited mobility. I am so very grateful for my family and friends that were there for me. That includes my long term friends on here the Cafe that I have known for more than 15 years. I am so blessed to know you folks...

Missing a few of the young ones today, one is having to work, the other up north doing the future-to-be-husband/son-in-law duties required of him a month before the nuptuals...me, I'm hanging low saving $ so I can pay for my share of said weeding coming up...
Life is good, freezer is empty of game..so what the hell, I'll enjoy a store bought bird!

Tired of living on the road,,,rite now I am no longer employed and don't even have a clue where I'm gonna end up  Nor how I'm gonna pay the bills,,,,dumb move,,,,but I need to be home,,,,hard thing to do to clean all the chit out of yer home(my truck) but sometimes you just have to trust that all will be rite,,I need me a lil more family time,,the boy the wife the granddaughter and the ole man,,,I ain't getting any younger,,,,lots of things come into play here,,,,So it's been a tough Thanksgivin in a way,,but I trust and believe it will all work out,,,least I was home with family and ate some dang fine grub,,,,time to move on tho' I sure loved what I did,,but there are other things I guess I love more

redleg, there just comes a time to make a change. For me it's been an every 7-year event where my "cheese got moved." Been times I got my arse kicked so hard I tasted shoe polish for a week. But the funny thing is, EVERY time it led to a better outcome eventually. I expect the same will happen to you as well...
