It sounds crazy

but I have a family favorite on the Weber right now doing an indirect cooking on. Meatloaf!!!

about 1 1/2lbs of ground deer
1lb of ground turkey
1 cup oatmeal
1 pint home canned maters
1 cup onions
1 cup sweet peppers
8 cloves garlic
S&P to taste.

mixed all up well and pressed into a loaf pan to set on the side of some charcoal, white oak and wild cherry. Will drain and let set overnight after about 3 hours. Remove from pan and put in crock with some BBQ sauce to warm up slowly tomorrow along with classic root veggies on the side.
