If you are looking for a good reference for all things smoker related I would recomend getting a copy of Smoke And Spice by Cheryl Alters Jamison and Bill Jamison.

400 pages of rubs, tips and quips.

It has a wide variety of sides recipes as well as historical info and reviews of BBQ joints around the country.
