Foots, this motor was given to me by my dad, who taught me how to hunt and fish. He died of syphilis a couple of years ago. It's the only thing I have left of him. I thought that if I could use his motor on my layout boat... it would kind of be like having him there to hunt with me again. Thanks for the suggestion that I pitch it in the lake.
