You'll see a ton extra cars trying to make Daytona, then not enough cars for races that don't have a big purses, and the big wheels at NASCAR will call up field-fillers, because they advertise a 43 car field to start each race.

The trick is, qualify, ride around for a few laps, then park it, so it doesn't cost much....
