What it is, I think, is that when we started our homebrew shop in the early 80's a lot of our customers were making "Prohibition-style" homebrew - one can of hopped malt extract, five cups of sugar, a pack of Red Star yeast, and let 'er rip! Hate to say, the Shiner beers all remind me of those - they hit the sugar bowl 'way too hard! ![]() |
