The pitching ERA for both starting pitchers and relievers was worse when Contraras was moved to the DH........perhaps our pitching just forking sucks as$. I mean we spend like $9 in the offseason to upgrade it. Mo was too busy remodeling the executive suites or ballpark village or some other BS.....instead of going after some real quality pitching. Seems everyone wanted the outfielders we have........who currently reside on the DL. Mo will have to get some better pitching in the rotation at this rate before July. The seem to have pulled their heads out of their asses and have things going in the right direction. Instead of a dozen games out of first and sitting like the Royals year after year, they cut that distance in half. 8-2 run in their last 10 games. Arenado is a big part of this team. He was struggling and the rest of them weren't picking up the slack. He seems to be back on track, so I think they move up into the leading part of the division soon. One more win and they are tied for 3rd. Two wins and they move into 3rd alone. Shitsburg was red hot. They are 3-7 in the last 10. Weather is getting hot and so are the bats. Lets see where they sit around June 1.
