The Masters

21 year old Jordan Spieth opens with a 64.

Woods or Nicholas never did that in any round there.

He has played great since coming on tour a few years ago but right now he's hot as a firecracker. Came in 2nd down there last year so he knows what's ahead.

Normally, first round leaders are sure to drop off but not so certain bout that with this kids game.

Re: The Masters

He wins I all by 5+ strokes... Take that to the bank. That kid is unbelievably talented and as cool as the other side of the pillow.

Re: The Masters

He might be the greatest but never liked the guy anyway.

And yeah, it's Blues at 2:00 for sure.

Re: The Masters

Welp, I was wrong (mark it down, its rare). He only won by 4 not 5. But the bogey on the last hole was a bit of a fluke. He had 4 strokes to give. If that put was on 12 or 14 or 16, he makes it every time.

That kid is special. Hard to call him a fluke when you consider what he has accomplished by age 21. The only question now is how he will handle it all. We saw what happened to Rory and we've seen others fall off in the past. I suspect the only thing that could derail him is his health. Unless he has some sort of injury or illness, he should be fine. The stuff between the ears seems to be pretty solid and pretty well grounded.

Glad he won! A great golfer , humble and appears to be an all around good guy.
