So Hellbender you've got this grand fear of national forest being sold

you believe I just want a revived logging industry when actually all I want is neighbors who are neighborly enough to not allow their problems to spill over onto my land.

Shouldn't the forest service be forced to create a 1/2 mile fuel break between its tinder box forests and their private neighbors?

Surely the expense is high, but nowhere near the expense forest firefighting

think of it HB, a compromise, your national forests could be allowed to burn completely up, my private land would be safe with a half-mile fuel break
