Yeah, that was a real good decision by the judge.

If the U.S. State Department doesn't get in the way, the plaintiffs should be able to levy on Iranian assets around the world and satisfy that judgment. The U.S. has treaties with many countries that allow reciprocal enforcement of court orders.

Our diplomats, though, have a long history of screwing over American citizens to kiss up on foreign countries. I hope OUR government will allow those people to collect their money.

If countries like Iran find that supporting terrorism is going to cost them billions of dollars, maybe they'll quit doing it. That would be more effective than all the diplomacy in the world.
