Yep......it is surprising how long the dark eyed juncos hang around after the snow and cold is gone. I know the male cardinals are super bright tight now at our feeders... I keep telling my self to set up the big lens and camera and photograph them but I am just as content to just watch them Of course I also get to see the woodpeckers jays,nuthatchs,chickadees, house finchs,blue birds and the tufted titmouse hit the feeder for black oil sunflower seeds and peanuts in the shell and our birdbath for a drink of aqua. Hoping to get some Baltimore Oriels later in the spring and the hummingbirds tend to show up about the same time as the Oriels. Just a slice of heaven ![]() ![]() ![]() |
