Molly and I worked up a 2014 calendar that we printed and had spiral bound for part of Christmas presents for her family. We used our small inkjet to print on photo paper and then went to Office Max for the binding and punching a center hole for hanging-- binding cost for each calendar was $3.21 Hard to estimate the ink cost but paper cost was about 17 cents per page for 8.5 x 11 Kodak Glossy With front and back covers and the months (14 x $0.17 = $2.38) Figure ink at say $2.50 for each calendar you get the princely sum of $8.09 All the short run printers wanted between $15 to $20 per calendar to print and bind so we were able to do it ourselves for less So- we are making the calendar available to any of you that wish to download it, print it and have it bound for your personal use The file is a 39 MB pdf (give it time to download) and is set up to print on 8.5 x 11 photo paper (glossy) You can print the covers and the months or use the print dialog to only print the months-- If you print the months only and some one asks where you got it, we would appreciate you telling them about our website www.forirphotos.com anyway-- you can get a preview of the calendar images at this link http://forirphotos.com/web-calendar/index.htm If you like it here is the printable calendar link http://forirphotos.com/calendar.pdf While the downloaded file worked for me --- your mileage may vary so you might try it on regular paper first (you may get an alert about borderless printing on regular paper-- if you run it on photo paper it runs on its own) Just to make our accountant and lawyer happy-- disclaimer we believe that the files will not harm your computer but the internet being what it is---- you download them at your own risk and we can not nor will we be responsible for anything |
