No doubt obama will be calling for their heads. Those Marines only did what others want to do, but are skeert ta do it. Hopefully they don't get anything more than a 6 mo suspended bust. That's all I got for causing an international incident in 1966.

I was discussing this with the other folks in my history department this morning. Granted, we have a rare department when it comes to how we see these things, but they all agreed with me and here is my take:
Patton pissed in the Rhine and was highly lauded for it. I don't see where this is any different, and if the United States Marines ain't gonna piss on em then who the fork is?

“The Marines were wrong. Give them a maximum punishment under field grade level Article 15 (non-judicial punishment), place a General Officer level letter of reprimand in their personnel file, and have them in full dress uniform stand before their Battalion, each personally apologize to God, Country, and Corps videotaped and conclude by singing the full US Marine Corps Hymn without a teleprompter.
