Your Karma almost got Dog with a tornado......me and Grif, on the other hand, faired slightly better. We been eating mud bugs, postacio nuts, and fried morels for the last 2 hours. I'm drinking beer and he's drinking Izzy's....but it won't be long now and he'll be sharing a cold beer with me. (sorry, Karma will never allow you to share a beer with your son) Now, his momma and sisters are off riding their horses.....notice I said THEIR horses....me and Grif don't partake in equestrian shenanigans......no......we just sit here, watching the hockey playoffs, eating crawdads, shrooms, and cracking open these nuts.....I guess Karma may rear it's ugly head when the Redhead views these shells on the floor....so maybe you got me after all you fat assed sonofabiaatch.

Speaking of hockey...went to the Mavericks game again tonight...second round playoffs of the CHL...they were down 2-0 in the series against Colorado...was a good game...lots of hard contact with three different stoppages for blood flowing although no fights as they were there to stay in the series not wreak havoc. They won 4-3 with game 4 Thursday night here locally...then back to Colorado for the take it all to round 3 game if it goes that far.
After March Madness it is time for April/May hockey - don't know why but I don't get into it before the Cup stuff...but do like it during the time of Lord Stanley.
Now to decide if turkeys is worth fightin cloudy 35 degree weather for in the morning or not

I was gonna take the day off tomorrow and chase some turks myself......but I guess I'll wait.
As for Hockey.....yeah man, it's the only game in town right now. Hard to get behind some baseball when there is 2.4 million games to still be played.
Speaking of baseball......FREE PETE ROSE!!!!!!! The greatest baseball player of my generation.....PERIOD!

I'm happy Karma allowed me to bring home 250 pounds of live crawfish.......and less than a pound of em died on the way
Karma got us this morning though. Hoekele's.......a local famous donut place was closed this am. Seems power is out from Wal-Markssssss up to the strip. Damn you James Worley and your Karma. I couldn't eat my 3 jellied filled donuts. How is karma going to turn me into a duck waddling 450 lb sloth if I can't eat my donuts

Dabs......you aren't missing much turkey hunting. It's cold and windy today as I sit in this blind with my 83 year old Great Uncle trying to call in a turkey for him. What I wanna know is who do we blame...........Karma or Mother Nature?????

The Baseball Hall Of Fame committee has offered Pete Rose an opportunity to be eligible for induction to the Baseball Hall Of Fame.
They have arranged a sprint race of Pete Rose vs Karma.
If Rose wins, he is in.
If he loses, he will be forever denied induction into the Hall.
"I ain't ever met this Karma fella, but I'm still pretty fast for an old white boy. I'm gonna whup his ass like I whupped Joe Morgan's ass" Rose quipped.
No date has been set but sources close to the story say Sunday May 1st looks to be the most likely day for this to happen.
ESPN and FOX Sportsare are now bidding to telecast the race as a lead in to their national broadcast of their Baseball Game of the Week.
Vegas oddsmakers have set a line of 5 to 1 that Rose will lose.
Rose has reportedly bet heavily on this contest.
When asked about any wagering he would do on this race, Rose said that he would only bet on his winning the race.

You know the saying...the worst day in the woods is better than the best day at work...cold or not I had to roll my ass out of bed and go.
Smaller acreage with not feeling comfortable running and gunning across fences...and that is where Mr. Vocal was again this morning - about 200-300 yards West. Had three hens in the wheelhouse throughout the morning so it was worth getting out of bed for.
Tomorrow morning might be a different story...he seems to roam around from pasture to pasture on a rotation...maybe he comes to see some new hens in the morning.
Kewl dealio with the 83 y/o Uncle....we should blame Mother Karma

Is it just me or are Griffs threads about Karma reading more and more like my wife and her friends facebooking chit? Telling anyone and everyone what you had for dinner, what you drank, what your kids and spouse are doing every minute of the day......Sounds like the winches on facebook...
