They are in 7th grade and resonably intelligent, coordianted kids. I would have little trouble teaching them gun safety and how to shoot. So, the logical thing to do is to take them on the Spring Youth Turkey Hunt. If they like it, they can get their Hunter Ed Certification. Here's the question: The regulations read that they must be in the presence of a properly licensed adult, who has their hunter-ed certification. It does not say that I can't take 2 kids at the same time. Is there any regulaton that would keep me from taking them both, at the same time? The next step is to call the MDC and ask someone in the enforcement division for a clarification. But I figured someone on this lively, active forum would know...
