..........a buddy.
He says MoMo had a time reg on Spring turk hunting for a few years back in the 90's that stated hunting til noon on the first week and then hunting til 1:00 the second week.
Anybody remember something like this?

I thought it was in the 80's. Daylight savings time hit in the middle weekend if I remember right so they did one ending time during the first week and another ending time during the second week so you had the same number of daylight hours.
Don't remember how many years but I think that was the reason.

I started turkey hunting in the early 80's. As long as I can recall, the hunting stopped at 12:00 noon, before daylight savings started and at 1:00 PM, after daylight savings started.

Those have been the shooting hours as long as I can recall. With daylight saving time starting earlier the whole spring season is now 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1pm. So if you bet we don't have shooting times you lose. Fall season you can hunt all day. Here's a link to the page. turkey regs
