I carved, glassed and painted and it looked like a champ. I put it in the water and went to oar it using kayak paddles, and I was fighting the damn thing wanting to go extreme left and right whenever I paddled. I read where someone on here put vinyl brick molding on the bottom of their boat with some modifications. I bought 2 8' pieces and will just resin them down on bottom (on top of the glass), however I wasn't sure if I should trim down the molding, should I lay it wide (cut flat) or narrow? here's a picture of the molding's side angle Post Extras
