Went there a few years ago. Really neat place and the air force 1 exhibit was awesome. Listened to some of his speeches at the various points in the library and couldn't help comparing him to then president obummer.

Yes. And when I was there, there tons of school kids on bus tours. History is a very good learning tool.

This is kind of like the content I studied this winter. How the economy isn't really a reflection of the stock markets, and visa versa, and global economies colliding. These of course, aren't the Reagan years, so in that way, history doesn't teach us as much as we'd like.

On a personal note, yes, we all use Chinese goods. I just think on a grander scale, if we could measure the energy used to produce, package and ship cheaper products and divide it by the product's life span, that we would be better off producing superior products at home that last longer.

Of course, but that requires stopping the Democrats (primarily) from taxing/regulating industry so heavily that they either shut down or move overseas.

Retroactive 12 year term limits in the US Congress would solve lots of these problems.

Good points, but it is now a matter of the national security of many nations with 5G and Hauwei.

Another point, strictly from and economic indicators, is that inflation is low. Tech and AI are driving that number down, as people burn less and less fuel, to have goods delivered to their door, or even driving to the store to compare goods. That's why, this economy, isn't Reagan's.

Here is a good reply to this problem from the comments page, and about a law - already on the books - which President Trump could use in this case. Another law, I had no knowledge about.....

"It is to OUR BENIFIT is we totally exit China and there are a few reasons why we should do it as soon as possible. First of all Trump does have the RIGHT to order all American Companies out of China. It can be one trough the 1977 law passed by Congress and Signed by Jimmy Carter and Jimmy Carter used the law himself and he was as leftwing as Obama! The Law is called The International Emergency Economics Powers Act. The Law has been used against Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria.

China is becoming a BELIGERENT and a BULLY! They are threatening their Neighbors, they are seizing Land and Islands from their Neighbors, they are engaged in Predatory Loans to African Nations in order to gain Land and Military Bases in Africa. This is all being done with the money which we send them for their CHEAP and INFERIOR goods. The Chinese are building up their Military, they have removed the one child policy, they have Militarized the South China Sea and the Taiwan Straights. China is on the move and they have SERIOUS INTENTIONS with SERIOUS RAMIFICATIONS and it is totally insane to bury our heads in the sand.

It is possible to stop China's ambitions and there is also the possibility that the Chinese Government could collapse. Every year there are millions of students who graduate and enter the job market and they must have work. If the don't have work there will be Social unrest and it would be directed at the Government!"

(If you can handle multiple spelling errors.) lol
